Verena Rodríguez is a Mexican author, illustrator, and designer.
She holds a MA degree in Children’s Literature from UBC, in Vancouver and was an Hermana mentee in the Las Musas Mentorship program for fall 2021.
She illustrated CLOUDBREAK, the 4th issue in The Thirteen Origins series, published by Chispa Comics (2024).
She’s the illustrator for PI: Una autobiografía infinita, written by Andrés Navas and Mahsa Allahbakhshi, published by Planeta de Libros Chile (March 2024).
Her illustrations have also been published with Editores Mexicanos Unidos, CIDCLI and Este País magazine in Mexico.
Verena currently lives in Santiago, Chile, with her partner. She loves baking, playing video games, D&D, and, of course, reading.
